What Niuro does

Niuro is the talent engineering company: AI agents plus forward-deployed engineers turn a role need into an evidence-backed shortlist, and hiring into a system that keeps what it learns. These terms cover three ways of working with us (Headhunting, Niuro Engineers, and the Agentic Hiring OS) plus the free talent side of the network.

Accounts and the portal

Companies and engineers use the Niuro portal at app.niuro.io. You are responsible for your account, for the accuracy of what you submit, and for keeping credentials private. An intake becomes active only after a human on our side reviews it and you approve the structured intake (role, criteria, compensation, and engagement model) in the portal.

Headhunting

• No retainers. A one-time success fee is due only when you hire.
• The fee is 12–20% of the hire's first-year salary, set by role complexity, urgency, seniority, and exclusivity, and confirmed with you before work begins.
• Replacement service is included for up to one year: if the hire leaves or is let go for performance in that period, we run the search again at no additional fee.
• Payment terms are flexible and set out in the engagement order.

Niuro Engineers

• A flat monthly rate per engineer, quoted at calibration by seniority and role. No fee is due until your engineer is working with you.
• Month to month: scale up, scale down, replace, or cancel anytime. We handle contracts, payments, replacements, and support.
• Buy-out: after the first year of an engagement, you may hire the engineer directly for 20% of their annual salary.
• While engaged, an engineer is never live inventory for other clients.

Agentic Hiring OS

A Niuro forward-deployed engineer installs our hiring system around your process. Pricing is outcome-based (an installation fee, a monthly fee, and a success component per hire) scoped with your FDE at calibration and set out in the order. Month to month, cancel anytime. Your data, and everything the system learns about your roles, stays yours.

Engineers: free, no exclusivity

The talent side is free: companies pay us, engineers never do. No fees, no deductions, no exclusivity: you may work with anyone else, and you may leave whenever. Your evidence moves only through introductions you approve. Engineers we place through Niuro Engineers are covered by their engagement agreements, which include non-circumvention of the client relationship for its duration.

Non-circumvention

Introductions are confidential. If we introduce a candidate, you agree not to engage them (directly or indirectly) outside Niuro for twelve months from the introduction, except through the fees above.

Confidentiality

Your intake, feedback, and role evidence are confidential to your engagement and never reused for another client's search. Candidate evidence is confidential to the introduction it was shared under. Both sides agree to keep the other's non-public information private.

What we promise, and what we don't

We stand behind the evidence: every shortlist is human-reviewed, and every consequential call is made by a talent engineer. We do not promise that a hire will succeed (no one honestly can), which is why the replacement service and month-to-month terms exist. The service is otherwise provided as is, without warranties beyond these terms.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Niuro is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, with disputes in the courts of San Francisco County. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stand. Changes to these terms are announced to active accounts before they take effect; continuing to use the service after that acceptance window means you accept them.
