Privacy policy

The short version

Niuro is the talent engineering company. Companies describe roles; engineers hold proof profiles. Nothing about an engineer moves to a company without that engineer's explicit yes, every time. Your intake and your evidence are never reused for another client's search, never sold, and never fed into a separate data business. The Data Lab is opt-in and firewalled.

What we collect

From companies

Role needs, job descriptions, intake answers (stack, seniority, compensation, work mode), hiring feedback, and account details. This is your engagement's working data.

From engineers

The proof profile: technical evidence (recordings, scores, reviewed work), an intro video, soft-skill and personality results, compensation preferences, availability, and (with permission) vouches from other engineers. Plus account details.

From visitors

Standard analytics (page views, referrers, device class) via privacy-respecting product analytics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling.

The consent gate

An engineer's evidence is never visible to a company by default. When a match is found, we ask the engineer about availability and interest first. Only after an explicit yes does an introduction happen, and only the evidence relevant to that role moves. There is no public profile, no searchable database of engineers, and no way for a company to browse people.

The Data Lab is separate

Niuro Data Lab is a paid, opt-in expert network for AI labs. It is firewalled from hiring: candidate job-search data is never shared with, sold to, or used by the Data Lab, and joining the Data Lab is a separate, explicit choice that has no effect on an engineer's standing in the talent network.

How we use information

• Match approved role intakes against engineer evidence.
• Run interviews, qualifications, and reference vouches.
• Operate the portal, agreements, invoicing, and support.
• Improve the matching system: the process and the playbooks, never your data.

What we never do

• Sell or rent personal information to anyone.
• Reuse one client's intake, feedback, or role evidence for another client's search.
• Share an engineer's evidence without that engineer's yes on that introduction.
• Publish profiles or make engineers searchable.

Sharing and subprocessors

We share data only with the infrastructure needed to run the service, hosting (Cloudflare) and product analytics, under contracts that limit use to providing those services, and with the counterparty of an engagement, within the consent rules above. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and engagement data while the relationship is active and for the period needed for legal, tax, and audit obligations. Engineers can leave whenever: deleting your profile deletes your proof profile and its artifacts from active systems; backups expire on their normal rotation. Companies can request deletion of engagement data the same way.

Security

Access to evidence is limited to the talent engineers working the engagement. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is logged. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you promptly and plainly.

International

Niuro is global by design. Data is processed where our infrastructure runs; where required, transfers rely on standard contractual protections. Where privacy law gives you rights (access, correction, deletion, portability, objection), you can exercise them by writing to us, and we will honor them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above moves and material changes are announced to active accounts before they take effect.
