Fullstack Developer

As a Fullstack Developer, you’ll turn sprint tasks into complete, production-ready features using Next.js, TypeScript, and AWS serverless services. Your work will span load submission, invoicing and collections, funding, broker credit, and FMCSA lookups in a product used in English and Spanish.

You’ll work closely with the Tech Lead, with clear priorities and ownership of your features from interface to deployment. This role is a fit for someone who enjoys building across the stack, pays attention to the user experience, and takes pride in shipping reliable software.

What you’ll do

* Build and ship complete features, including the UI, APIs, database changes, tests, and deployment.

* Develop interfaces in Next.js and TypeScript, following our design system and creating thoughtful empty and error states.

* Build backend services using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS.

* Write SQL and work with PostgreSQL data supporting loads, invoices, and documents.

* Integrate banking, credit, and identity providers, handling webhooks, retries, and failure scenarios.

* Write meaningful tests, with particular care for features that move or manage money.

* Use CI/CD pipelines and preview deployments to deliver changes reliably.

* Work within the Tech Lead’s sprint cadence, estimate your tasks, communicate progress, and participate in code reviews.

What you’ll bring

* Three or more years building products with Next.js and AWS across frontend and backend.

* Strong TypeScript and Next.js skills, including server components, routing, and rendering approaches.

* Hands-on experience with AWS serverless services: Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and SQS.

* Practical PostgreSQL skills and the ability to write SQL beyond ORM calls.

* Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party services.

* Experience with automated testing and CI/CD workflows, including GitHub Actions and preview deployments.

* The ability to take a feature from specification to production and follow through on the details.

* Enough English to read specifications, respond to code review comments, and write clear updates.

Nice to have

* Experience building logistics or fintech products.

* Internationalization experience for English and Spanish interfaces.

* Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.

What success looks like

* By day 30: You’re independently shipping small features to production that meet the agreed requirements and quality standards.

* By day 60: You own a product area end to end and provide accurate estimates for your work.

* By day 90: You’re trusted to deliver features that involve money and contribute to other developers’ code reviews.
